I can’t quite believe it’s been over 3 years since I started Vision 29.
My motivations were quite clear: to get a better work and life balance, spend more time with my family whilst still deriving a sense of achievement and success in my work life. By the end of last year, I felt I had successfully achieved my goals. It’s been fantastic. Supported and encouraged by my family, friends, old colleagues, existing and new partners, and not to mention clients, who believed I could deliver for them. I can’t thank everyone enough and I can’t quite believe I’m here.
So, what now?
2017 is going to be a year of growth, success and optimism for Vision 29. I’m ready to focus more on the future of Vision 29 as a marketing consultancy that can not only bring clarity and vision to my clients’ marketing but also be a true extension of their team. One consistent piece of feedback from clients always comes down to my personality, openness and honesty (of course, my marketing expertise and skillset are a given!) and so I feel that is one area where I can truly excel when it comes to delivering a more personalised service to my clients.
A big change for this year and beyond is my decision to grow the team at Vision 29. I have always worked extremely closely with a tight set of reliable partners offering everything from PR and copywriting to website design and SEO, who I turn to when I need to deliver a seamless, extended marketing offering to my clients. Now, I am pleased to also have another freelancer working directly with me to deliver day-to-day marketing support to my clients. Some people say that adding to your team, even with freelancers, is often risky and a challenge but I knew that wouldn’t be the case for me as this wonderful freelancer has worked with me previously for well over 10 years. We know each other inside out, we work together exceptionally well and above all else, we trust each other implicitly. Let me introduce Elise Davies…
Elise has been working with me and a particular client for the past 3 months and it’s going so incredibly well. Waking up this morning to an email from the client telling me how pleased they are really has made my Friday!
New opportunities are in the pipeline and if they come off I will be looking to grow the team further. I know how important it is to get the right people to work with, and yesterday, I met the next perfect person to join my team. We clicked instantly. Now I just need these current possibilities to turn into realities.
So, if you’re reading this blog because you’re looking for a personable, committed and highly effective marketing consultancy to help propel your business to the next level, pick up the phone, give us a call and prepare not to be disappointed. We’re poised and ready to deliver!
